{22nd February '06} ~ I managed to do some creating of my own this week despite feeling under the weather.
There is a collage of Amanda Tapping entitled
"Lady in Red", there is also
one of Jack from the sixth season episode,
"Paradise Lost", and finally my
first collage from Stargate: Atlantis, but it definitley won't be my last as I am really enjoying the series.
It's a fairly simple one entitled,
"The Ring Ceremony".
There are more additions to the fanart
challenges. This time the entries are from
Tina and Maggie. Many thanks for them, ladies. The closing date for all the challenges has been extended one week to Friday 3rd March, 23:59, CET.

{6th February '06}
~ A very belated Happy New Year to everyone. I decided to change the look of the site to match the winter outside. I did it a while
ago and I'm not sure that I like it now, but I'm planning on changing the look in the spring so it won't be up for long.
A lot of you will be glad to know that I've re-opened the monthly fanart challenges. There are three
ones this month, I hope they aren't too difficult, but are challenging enough for the more experienced fanart creators out there.
As always you are welcome to
contact me if you have problems and/or questions.
I have also managed to do a bit of creating of my own and have done two fanarts, one is a Daniel/Vala piece.
I really enjoyed the character of Vala and I especially loved the sparks between her and Daniel. The 2nd fanart I created was actually my own
attempt at the first challenge, basically to show what I came up with. I did go on to add my own touches to it,
but I thought it would be interesting for the competitors in the challenges to see what I did.
I have also included below each update a Comments area where if you want you can comment on each individual update. Feel free to voice your opinions
on my additions and the fanart challenges, but if you have any questions please use the
contact form.
Anyway I hope you like the new additions and good luck to anyone who decides to enter the challenges.
But please remember to read the
guidelines before starting.

{7th October '05}
~ I thought I would change the look of the site so that it matched the season.
I love the colours of autumn and wanted that to be relected in the new look of the site.
I've altered things slightly and added a different type of menu. It's java script so if you can't see it
you need to enable that feature in whatever browser you are using. The tagboard has been made into a popup so that it
doesn't take up quite so much space on each page.

I was also more than happy to help create a Daniel layout for
Tina,
please have a look at her site and her lovely artwork.

{9th Sept '05} ~ I finally felt like actually doing some creating this week.
I created two wallpapers with Amanda Tapping and a single one of RDA. My reasoning for doing two wallpapers
of Amanda is simply that there are more "new" images of her floating about than there are images of RDA.
I know there have been newer ones of RDA with a white seal pup, but I didn't feel right about using those images,
because in my opinion he shouldn't have been that close to a seal pup as there was a high risk of it being
rejected afterwards by its mother. Bare in mind this is only my opinion, if you don't agree with it - fair enough,
but don't send me email complaining about my point of view. It's mine and I'm entitled to it
same as you are entitled to yours.
Anyway I would much prefer to see new images of RDA without animals.. unless it's Zoe (his dog) of course.
The images I used are from the Vancouver Fire Fighters Celebrity Cookbook
and were taken by Jonathan Cruz.

{19th August '05} ~ I've completed converting all of my sites over to php.
I hope there are no errors but if you find any, please contact me so that I can correct the problem.
I've also uploaded a couple of wallpapers of Amanda Tapping that I finished several months ago.
Feedback would be appreciated on them and on how you think the site runs now.
Since my announcement back in April about no more updates to the RDA site,
I have received several mails from people expressing interest in adopting my site.
I've had a few months to think about all the offers and I have decided to carry on myself.
I don't know how often I will be updating but I will keep trying to do the ocassional artwork since
they do seem to be popular. Sorry to all the people who had hoped to take over the site.
